We use both, each for what it's best at. Epoxy is the base coat — it bonds deep into the concrete and builds the thickness that gives your floor its strength. Polyaspartic goes on top as the final layer, since it cures fast, resists UV so it won't yellow in the Texas sun, and holds up better to scratches and chemicals day to day. Using epoxy alone gets you strength without the UV protection; polyaspartic alone skips the deep bond epoxy provides. Together, you get both.

Light foot traffic is fine after 24 hours. We recommend waiting 48 to 72 hours before parking vehicles back in the garage so the coating has time to fully cure.
